Bourbon Diploma Program

"Journeyman Bourbon Taster"

The Bourbon Diploma Program covers many of the basics in learning and tasting Bourbons and Whiskies. Student must complete a total of TEN (10) Tasting Classes and quizzes.

In addition to the Bourbon 201 requirement for the Bourbon Certificate, the student must now have the Tennessee Whiskey 202 course and any other 8 classes.

Upon Graduation you will receive your 8-1/2” x 11” Parchment Diploma suitable for framing and earn the title of “Journeyman Bourbon Taster.” Upon completion of your Bourbon Diploma you will earn the Commensurate Rank of Sergeant in the “Bourbon Brigade” and you will receive an invitation to attend one additional class, FREE of charge on Zoom or in person.

The Associate Degree Program

"Certified Bourbon Taster"

The Associate Degree Program with a concentration in “Bourbon Distilleries” requires that the student must complete a total of NINETEEN (19) Tasting Classes and quizzes.

In addition to the requirements for the Bourbon Diploma program, the student must also complete FOUR (4) Distillery Classes of the 12 Major or Medium Distillery classes offered (click on underlined Link above to see list to choose from).

In addition, student may take any 10 additional electives from any of the over 28 classes listed in the link above.

Upon Graduation, you will receive your 8-1/2” x 11” Parchment Associate Degree and a Frame as well as earn the title of “Certified Bourbon Taster” with the Commensurate Officer Rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade in the “Bourbon Brigade”.

The student also earns a 3-D 1-1/4” COPPER Whiskey University Lapel Pin to wear in public or to events and the privilege of being a Degree Graduate. If you will be teaching classes for us, you will also receive a Whiskey University E-mail address.
