Professor Lt. Colonel Ross Osborne

Professor Ross Osborne was one of the three founding members of Whiskey University dating back as far as May of 2012. It was in when 2016 Whiskey University began offering Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees. Ross was the first student to earn his Bourbon Diploma on January, 12th, 2016.

Osborne is the owner of three Miracle Ear franchises in Middle Tennessee. Ross Osborne was born in April in 1962 and was born and raised in Columbia, Tennessee which is in Maury County. He currently a resident of Columbia, Tennessee. Lt. Colonel Osborne has two adult children William Osborne and Rachel Osborne.

Osborne was the first student to earn his Associate Degree on September 28th, 2017. Ross is also a Recruiter for Whiskey University. Professor Osborne taught his first class on May 31st, 2018 when he taught a highly specialized class on “Booker’s Bourbon.” He also teaches Bourbon 201, “Bourbon Founders,” Jim Beam, (Advanced Part 3) “The Small Batch Collection” and Jim Beam, (Advanced Part 2) “The Olds, Ryes and High Rye Bourbons” On June 28th, 2018 Ross became the second student at Whiskey University to earn his Bachelor’s Degree, the title of "Certified Master Bourbon Taster" and the rank of Captain in the Bourbon Brigade.

Ross Osborne earned his Masters Degree on March, 28th 2019, the title of "Senior Chartered Master Bourbon Taster" and the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Bourbon Brigade. Whiskey University named Professor Ross Osborne one of two of the Brigade’s Jim Beam Brands Specialists.

Professor Lt. Colonel Carl Ingrum

Professor Carl Ingrum has been a member of Whiskey University beginning in 2016. It was 2016 when Whiskey University began offering Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees. Carl was only the second student to earn his Bourbon Diploma on July 13th, 2016.

Ingrum is the owner of Mid Tennessee Communications. Carl Ingrum was born in June 1979 and was born and raised in Columbia, Tenesseee which is in Maury County. He currently a resident of Columbia, Tennessee. Lt. Colonel Ingrum is married to Pricilla Duncan Ingrum and has an adult daughter Madison Ingrum.

Carl was the second student to earn his Associate Degree on December 14th, 2017. Ingrum is also a Recruiter for Whiskey University. Carl taught his first class on January 24th, 2019 when he taught the “Heaven Hill Brands Basic Tasting” he also teaches Bourbon 201. On May 10th, 2018 Ingrum became the first student at Whiskey University to earn his Bachelor’s Degree, the title of "Certified Master Bourbon Taster" and the rank of Captain in the Bourbon Brigade.

Carl earned his Masters Degree on January 24th 2019, the title of "Senior Chartered Master Bourbon Taster" and the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Bourbon Brigade. Whiskey University named Professor Carl Ingrum the Brigade’s Heaven Hill Brands Specialist.

Professor Colonel Dale Robinson

Professor Dale Robinson has been a member of Whiskey University since Mid 2016. In 2016 Whiskey University began offering Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees. Dale earned his Bourbon Diploma on October 26th, 2016.

Dale is an Environmental Manager III at the Division of Underground Storage Tanks in the Department of Environment for the State of Tennessee. Robinson is also an Honorary Colonel, Aide de Camp on the Governor of the State of Tennessee Staff since October 1979. Colonel Dale Robinson was born in July 1962 and was raised in Lynnville, Tennessee which is in Giles County. Dale graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1985. He currently a resident of Columbia, Tennessee. Dale is married to Tracy Barber Robinson and has three adult children Andrew Robinson, Eli Robinson and McKayla Deridder.

Dale was also the fourth student to earn his Associate Degree on December 14th, 2017. Robinson is also a Recruiter for Whiskey University. Dale taught his first class on October 4th, 2018 when he taught the “Wild Turkey Tasting” he also teaches Bourbon 201, “Bourbon Founders” and the “Bluegrass Region.” On August 9th, 2018 Robinson earned his Bachelor’s Degree at Whiskey University and the title of "Certified Master Bourbon Taster" and the rank of Captain in the Bourbon Brigade.

Dale became only the third graduate student to earn his Masters Degree on March 28th 2019, the title of "Senior Chartered Master Bourbon Taster" and the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Bourbon Brigade. Whiskey University named Professor Dale Osborne the Brigade’s Wild Turkey Brands Specialist.

Professor Major Christopher Hart

Professor Christopher Hart has been a member of Whiskey University since Early 2017. In 2016 Whiskey University began offering Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees. Chris earned his Bourbon Diploma on July 13th, 2017.

Major Hart is a Manager in the Data Management & Business Intelligence Division at H. C. A. Healthcare. Chris Hart was born in December 1985 in Nashville, Tennessee. He now lives in Spring Hill, Tennessee. Chris is married to Elizabeth Wren Hart. Hart graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems at Middle Tennessee State University.

Christopher was also the sixth student to earn his Associate Degree on November 9th, 2017. Chris taught his first class on February 28th, 2019 when he taught the “Jim Beam Basic Tasting” he also teaches “Tennessee Whiskey 202” and Jim Beam (Advanced Part 1) “The Jim Beam Line.” On April 20th, 2018 Yow earned his Bachelor’s Degree at Whiskey University and the title of "Master Bourbon Taster" and the rank of Captain in the Bourbon Brigade.

Christopher became only the fifth graduate student to earn his Masters Degree on March 28th 2019, the title of "Senior Chartered Master Bourbon Taster" and the rank of Major in the Bourbon Brigade. Whiskey University named Professor Christopher Hart one of two of the Brigade’s Jim Beam Brands Specialist.

Professor Christopher Yow has been a member of Whiskey University since Mid 2017. In 2016 Whiskey University began offering Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees. Chris earned his Bourbon Diploma on September 14th, 2017.

Major Yow is the Managing Editor of the Advertiser News of Spring Hill and Thompson’s Station. Chris Yow was born in September 1986 in Dora, Alabama. He now lives in Franklin, Tennessee and is one of four Williamson County Bourbon Boys.

Christopher was also the fourth student to earn his Associate Degree on May 24th, 2018. Yow is also a Recruiter for Whiskey University. Chris taught his first class on February 13th, 2019 when he taught the “Willett Distillery Tasting” he also teaches Bourbon 201. On October 27th, 2018 Yow earned his Bachelor’s Degree at Whiskey University and the title of "Certified Master Bourbon Taster" and the rank of Captain in the Bourbon Brigade.

Christopher became only the fourth graduate student to earn his Masters Degree on March 28th 2019, the title of "Senior Chartered Master Bourbon Taster" and the rank of Major in the Bourbon Brigade. Whiskey University named Professor Christopher Yow the Brigade’s Willett Brands Specialist.

Professor Major Devere Walker

Professor Devere Walker has been a member of Whiskey University since Early 2017. In 2016 Whiskey University began offering Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees. Devere earned his Bourbon Diploma on September 14th, 2017.

Major Walker is an A. R. O. at the General Motors Spring Hill Manufacturing Plant. Devere Walker was born in August 1970 in Chicago, Illinois. He is now a resident of Culleoka, Tennessee and is married to Cindy Ryan Walker.

Devere was the eighth student to earn his Associate Degree on February 8th, 2018 and he is also a Recruiter for Whiskey University. Walker taught his first class on April 10th, 2019 when he taught the “Buffalo Trace Basic Class and Tasting” he also teaches Whiskey 101. On May 10th, 2018 Walker earned his Bachelor’s Degree at Whiskey University and the title of "Master Bourbon Taster" and the rank of Captain in the Bourbon Brigade.

Devere became only the sixth graduate student to earn his Masters Degree on April 25th 2019 along with the title of "Senior Chartered Master Bourbon Taster" and the rank of Major in the Bourbon Brigade. Whiskey University named Professor Devere Walker one of two of the Brigade’s Buffalo Trace Brands Specialist.

Professor Scott Jackson has been a member of Whiskey University since mid 2017. In 2016 Whiskey University began offering Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees. Scott earned his Bourbon Diploma on October 12th, 2017.

Lt. Colonel Jackson is the Owner of Jackson’s Smokehouse Barbecue in Columbia. Scott Jackson was born in January 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee. He is now a resident of Culleoka, Tennessee and is married to Mina Ioranidis Jackson.

Scott was the ninth student to earn his Associate Degree on May 24th, 2018 and he is also a Recruiter for Whiskey University. Jackson taught his first class on April 25th, 2019 when he taught the “LuxCo Tasting Class” he also teaches Bourbon 201 and “Bourbon Founders.” On September 27th, 2018 Jackson earned his Bachelor’s Degree at Whiskey University and the title of "Master Bourbon Taster" and the rank of Captain in the Bourbon Brigade.

Scott became only the seventh graduate student to earn his Masters Degree on May 22nd 2019 along with the title of "Senior Chartered Master Bourbon Taster" and the rank of Lieutenant in the Bourbon Brigade. Whiskey University named Professor Scott Jackson its LuxCo Brands Specialist.

Professor Major Troy Rubert

Professor Troy Rubert has been a member of Whiskey University since early 2017. In 2016 Whiskey University began offering Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees. Troy earned his Bourbon Diploma on May 25th, 2017.

Major Rubert is the Chief Information Officer at Nashville Computer in Nashville. Troy Rubert was born in March 1968 in Dyersburg, Tennessee. He is now a resident of Columbia, Tennessee and is married to Lori Eubank Rubert. He has two adult children that also live in Columbia in Caleb Rubert and Mackenzie Rubert.

Troy was the fifth student to earn his Associate Degree on February 22nd, 2018 and he is also a Recruiter for Whiskey University. Rubert taught his first class on June 27th, 2019 when he taught the “Brown-Forman Tasting Class” he also teaches Bourbon 201 and “Bourbon Founders.” On August 9th, 2018 Rubert earned his Bachelor’s Degree at Whiskey University and the title of "Master Bourbon Taster" and the rank of Captain in the Bourbon Brigade.

Troy became only the ninth graduate student to earn his Masters Degree on June 27th 2019 along with the title of "Chartered Master Bourbon Taster" and the rank of Major in the Bourbon Brigade. Whiskey University named Professor Troy Rubert its Brown-Forman Brands Specialist.
