Lt. Col. Harry Casazza

Harry Casazza has been a member of Whiskey University since March 2022. In 2016 Whiskey University began offering Certificates, Diplomas, and Degrees. Harry earned his Bourbon Diploma on June 13, 2022. Harry earned his Bourbon Diploma on May 7th, 2022. Harry earned his Associate Degree after passing 18 classes on August 10, 2022

Harry is a proud Army Veteran, and this is where he started his medical career as an Army Combat Medic. Next, Harry spent nine years as an Orthopedic Surgical Assistant at the prestigious Hospital for Joint Diseases in Manhattan, New York. Next, Harry spent twenty-seven years in the Orthopedic medical device industry as a Sales Representative/Manager and Sales Education Manager for Stryker Corporation. Harry was born in May of 1960 in Brooklyn but grew up in Staten Island, New York. He now resides in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, with his wife of over 20 years and their son, Zachary, and Goldendoodle, Stella.

On August 10th, 2022 Harry earned his Bachelor of Science Degree with a Major in the Bourbon Capital Region with 26 classes at Whiskey University. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Major in the Tennessee Whiskey Region, 34 classes at Whiskey University on January 15th, 2023.

Harry's passion for wine and bourbon started in the late seventies when he lived in Kentucky while in the military. He started collecting American wines but always had a devotion to bourbon. Before joining Whiskey University, he kept a few bourbons & ryes in addition to hundreds of American red wines in his collection. Throughout his Whiskey University education and classes, he has amassed an admirable selection of bourbon and ryes to his ever-growing whiskey collection!

On February 26, 2023, Harry earned his Master of Science Degree with a Double Major in the Tennessee Whiskey and Bourbon Capital Regions with 42 classes at Whiskey University. On July 31, 2023, Harry earned his Master of Arts Degree with a double Major in the Bluegrass Region and Bourbon Capital Region with 52 classes at Whiskey University. He was also granted the title of "Chartered Master Whiskey Taster" and the rank of Lt. Colonel in the Bourbon Brigade. Lt. Colonel Casazza is also a Certified Bourbon Steward with the Stave and Thief Society.
