Jeff Borker has been a member of Whiskey University since late 2020.  In 2016 Whiskey University began offering Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees to students. Jeff earned his Bourbon Diploma on April 13, 2021.

Lieutenant Borker is the Global Product Director of wholesale data center services at Digital Realty and is based out of Kansas City. Jeff Borker was born in September 1961 in Chicago, Illinois. He is now a resident of Spring Hill, Kansas just south of Kansas City and is married to Denise Borker.  They have two adult children that also live in the Kansas City metropolitan area, Ashley Wiebeck and Adam Borker.  Jeff’s son and son-in-law both share the same passion for whiskey as he does.

Jeff also runs a whiskey tasting and consultancy service, “The Classic Dram” hosting tasting events for individuals, groups, charitable fund raisers and corporate events throughout the K.C. metro area.  Jeff earned his Associate Degree from Whiskey University after passing 15 classes on May 20th, 2021 and his Bachelor of Science Degree with 24 classes, at Whiskey University and the title "Adjunct Master Bourbon Taster" and the rank of Lieutenant First Class in the Bourbon Brigade.

Jeff’s love of all things bourbon can be traced back to the early 1980s attending college.  That passion ignited in the early 1990s when he got his first taste of Blanton’s Single Barrel and started truly appreciating what bourbon is.  Since then Jeff has been on a mission to learn as much as he can about American whiskey, and evangelize this awesome spirit to newbies and seasoned whiskey drinkers alike.
