Professor Shane Lewis has been a member of Whiskey University since Mid 2019. In 2016 Whiskey University began offering Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees. Dale earned his Bourbon Diploma on October 26th, 2016.

Shane is the owner of Arms Attire and a retired police officer of 23 years from Henderson, Nevada. Lieutenant Lewis born in January 1966 and was raised in Lakewood, Colorado which is in Central Colorado. Shane studied Merchandising/Business/Marketing at Colorado State University. He currently a resident of Columbia, Tennessee. Shane was also one of the first thirty students to earn his Associate Degree after passing 15 classes on October 22nd, 2020. Lewis is also a Recruiter for Whiskey University.

Shane taught his first class on April 24th, 2021 when he taught the “Bourbon 201”Tasting Class in Dallas, Texas. He also teaches “Tennessee Whiskey 202” and the ”Bourbon Capital Region” Tasting Classes. On March 14th, 2021 Lewis earned his Bachelors of Science Degree with 24 classes. On August 26th, 2021 Shane earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree with 30 classes completed at Whiskey University. By doing so he also earned the title of "Master Bourbon Taster" and the rank of Captain in the Bourbon Brigade.
